Isn't that so true? We always feel that the grass is greener on the other side, because of the limitations of our own sight. This perspective can really put a lot of pressure on us. Apply this in a marriage, and it can put a lot of pressure on your spouse! And if you have a wife like Rohini (that's me by the way), then you want to be anybody but Rishi (Karan V Grover)! And add to this scenario the aspirational (read perfect) husband Abhimanyu (Pracheen Chauhan), then you are finished! Since the grass on his side is by far the greenest! This is a scenario we could not have not explored and in fact we are already too late to explore this since there have been so many of you asking us when we'll return with season 2 of Grass Is Greener On The Other Side!
Rishi & Rohini as you all know are this urban everyday couple. Rohini is a perfectionist, has a lot of expectations from Rishi, loves him a lot and hence feels she has a right to guide certain things (er… all things) in his life. Rishi humours her many times since he loves her a lot too and understands where her concern comes from.
Then there are Abhimanyu & Meera (Pooja Gor). This is that couple who everybody looks up to and wants to be like. They never fight, are always lovey-dovey, and seem so much in love! But of course, a wife like Rohini is bound to notice how perfect Abhimanyu is and how he always says the right thing at the right time.. unlike Rishi who seems more… unprepared for the darts she throws at him unknowingly.
Oh don't we all wish to have that perfect husband! But till we do, it's fun to watch the stark difference in the approach towards different situations that Abhimanyu & Rishi have. And that's how Grass is Greener was born. In this episode we see the 4 of them going for a weekend homestay together and while Abhimanyu & Rishi are both at it, there is a 5th person that joins them.
