Games have been a crucial part of our parties since we were young. Be it fighting with each other for the last chair in musical chairs or begging for the pillow to land in your lap during passing the parcel!
But as we grew up those games became a thing of the past. And we moved on to different forms of partying, and different forms of games. But that doesn't mean that the games we adults play are any less fun, are they?
Growing older you may remember the first round of truth and dare with maybe your crush in the loop, or those mushy paper dances that would take place where you got closer as the papers folded further. I think we've played sufficient games to know that games add an element of fun and spice in each gathering! But of-course when you get along with your other married friends you can't sit and play a round of newspaper dance now can you? (Well, if you're adventurous enough then maybe you still could). While 'Never have I ever', remains a popular party game, try it in a close circle of friends with your better half and I'm sure some secrets would be divulged! Or maybe a game to see which couple knows each other better with a game of truth and lies where you say a set of truths and lies and it's upon your partner to tell which is which!
The basic cards are always an option, you could make an attempt to move away from the basic Teen Patti and shift to more interactive games like Monopoly Deal or even Cards Against Humanity to add a dark and funny twist to your get together. There is no end to all the games couples can play when together, app stores are filled with it, the internet is flooding with ideas and each one at the party always has atleast one game that they'd have learnt from someone somewhere at another party. You could even move into more fun filled games such as the one SUNNY, JHANVI, ABHIMANYU and MEERA end up playing, where they enact scenes of movies as per the film title written in the chit they pick out! That would surely add some nice bollywood masala to your evening! So while conversations are always fun to have during a get together, while in a gathering it isn't bad idea for couples to give some of these games a shot. You never know how entertaining and memorable the evening may turn into!
