What is love? The most spectacular, indescribable, deep euphoric feeling for someone.
Isn’t this how you would describe Abhimanyu(Pracheen Chauhan) and Meera’s (Pooja Gor) love for each other? Don’t you feel that these two are incomplete without each other and they bring the punch in the pyar in each other’s lives?

Pyar Ka Punch has been one of the most loved series on Shitty Ideas Trending. Abhimanyu’s sly

  but cute ways to impress Meera and Meera’s naivete and her innocence have been very well received by the audiences over time. When we started out with Pyar Ka Punch, it was a series that showcased Abhimanyu as a conniving husband who could get away with just about anything and Meera was the innocent wife who would fall for anything that Abhimanyu said. However, over a period of time, Abhimanyu’s character became more endearing and Meera became the epitome of goodness.

The creator-founder of SIT, Mohit Hussein created Abhimanyu’s character as an anti-thesis of Rishi’s character in The Better Half. While Rishi (Karan V Grover) was the docile husband, Abhimanyu turned out to be the one all husbands would want advice from, on how to handle their respective spouses vis-a-vis marriages. Meera was the sweet wife while Rohini (Chhavi Mittal) was a more demanding one. Mohit then got the two couples together in Grass Is Greener On The Other Side to show how different they were in terms of handling relationship issues and their individual relationships. 

 Coming back to Pyar Ka Punch, after going through various phases, after all the ups and downs in Abhi and Meera’s life, the couple has reached a point now where they are both mature enough to understand each other’s ways. Perhaps this realisation happened in the penultimate episode of Bin Bulaaye Mehmaan season-3, where Meera realised how Abhimanyu had used her naivete to trap her into believing something. But Abhimanyu explained to her that whatever he has so far done was not to make a fool out of Meera, instead to make Meera happy. isn’t just the characters of Abhimanyu and Meera that are loved by the audiences, but it is also Pracheen Chauhan and Pooja Gor who resonate with the audiences. The two have created a special chemistry which the audience just love to watch. There is also their off screen camaraderie, or shall we say, the incessant arguments that they indulge in, that the audience are party too as well in the behind-the-scenes footage.

Now as we move on to the season 2 of Pyar Ka Punch, there is a lot more to expect from Abhimanyu and Meera. It is the second phase of their relationship or marriage so to speak. They are moving beyond just being husband and wife, to being each other’s confidantes and support systems. It might sound a bit confusing right now on where this relationship is heading, but that’s only the curiosity that surrounds the new season launch.
